  • Royal Bhutan Monastery: A famous monastery which was built by the King of Bhutan for showcasing the important aspects from the life of Lord Buddha. There is also a temple inside the monastery. The temple has a 7 feet high statue of Lord Buddha. The walls of the temple are beautifully carved with Buddhist sculptures.
  • Archaeological museum: This museum is near Mahabodhi temple in which the highlight is the collection of around 2000 year old granite, sandstone railings and pillars rescued from the Mahabodhi temple.
