Trip Highlights

Itinerary Detail

Your 6-day Rajasthan tour starts in Jaipur, the capital city. The city’s magnificent palaces, formidable forts, and royal Maharajas provide a romantic realm in the western deserts, making it an incredibly unique part of India.

Upon arrival at Jaipur Airport, meet our tour representative and transfer to a hotel to freshen up. After some relaxation, begin your sightseeing tour, starting with Jal Mahal.

Standing elegantly amidst the Man Sagar Lake, Jal Mahal or the Water Palace boasts of its unexplained stories. Built in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II, it is a five-storey building with a stately pavilion and a terrace garden. Out of the five floors of Jal Mahal, the first floor remains underwater when the lake is full.

In the evening head to the Birla Temple to learn more about the fascinating religious life of Jaipur. This marble structure, built in 1985, features ornate statues, including one of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and beauty, and Narayan, adorned in vibrant robes that represent a Hindu vision of heavenly luxury.

Overnight stay in Jaipur.

On the second day of your 6-day Rajasthan itinerary, you will explore the Pink City, which will introduce you to the rich history, culture, and lifestyle of Jaipur. After having your breakfast, meet our tour representative who will take you to the various attractions.

The morning begins with a visit to Amber Fort, the former capital of the Kachwaha Rajputs. This historic fort is situated atop a range of rugged hills, with a small lake in front that enhances its beauty.

Next, visit the City Palace, a charming fusion of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture. Nearby is Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observation site built in the early 18th century by Jai Singh II. This observatory features oversized astronomical instruments and is still in use today.

After exploring Jantar Mantar, head to the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds. This prominent landmark in Jaipur features a five-storey structure made of pink sandstone, adorned with intricate trellis work and elaborate balconies. The palace boasts 953 niches and windows.

The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish. Whether you choose to go shopping or sample the delicious local cuisine, the options are plentiful. The best time to shop is during the evening, when you’ll find jewelry, pottery, tie-dye, silk, saris, wooden handicrafts, and carpets.

Overnight will be at Jaipur.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Jodhpur, known as the Blue City of Rajasthan. Jodhpur is the second-largest city in Rajasthan and is a vibrant holiday destination famous for its historical forts and palaces. The city is also well-known for its unique food offerings, including Makhaniya Lassi (a drink made with yogurt and sugar), Mawa Kachori, Pyaaj Kachori, and Mirchibada (a spicy snack).

Upon arrival in Jodhpur, you will be transferred to your pre-booked hotel, complete the check-in formalities, and relax for some time.

It’s time to begin your city tour. First, you will be taken to Mehrangarh Fort, also known as Mehran Fort, which was built by Rao Jodha in 1459 in Jodhpur. It is one of the largest forts in the country.

After exploring the fort, head to Umaid Bhawan Palace. Built in 1943, this stunning palace in Jodhpur is a unique blend of a captivating history and luxurious modernity. It serves multiple purposes: it is a heritage hotel, a museum, and the residence of the current owner, Raja Gaj Singh, who belongs to the Royal Family.

Next, visit the Jaswant Thada, a magnificent marble cenotaph and mausoleum for the kings of Marwar.

In the evening, head to Mandore Garden. Known for its vast green spaces, stunning architecture, and royal cenotaphs, Mandore Garden in Jodhpur is truly a sight to behold.

Now come back to the Hotel for an overnight Stay.

After breakfast, drive to Udaipur en route, stop at Ranakpur.

The Ranakpur Temples, which date back to the 15th century, are an important Jain pilgrimage site. Intricate carvings cover every inch of the solid marble walls of the temples, which have a majestic yet somber exterior. The tranquil atmosphere inside the temple, combined with the delicate scent of incense, can inspire even the most outgoing traveler to reflect and contemplate.

After exploring the temple, start your journey to Udaipur. Upon arrival, complete your check-in formalities. In the evening, you can explore the surroundings of the hotel on your own. Later, return to your hotel. Overnight stay will be in Udaipur.

The fifth day of your 6-day Rajasthan tour package is focused on sightseeing in Udaipur. After breakfast, our tour representative will take you to the City Palace.

The impressive City Palace, which overlooks Lake Pichola, is a stunning example of Rajput architecture. Behind the fortified walls of the palace, you’ll find dark, steep, and narrow staircases that connect a maze of royal chambers and courtyards. Throughout the palace, you will see dazzling, intricately painted miniatures, antiques, and artwork on display.

After thoroughly exploring the fort, visit Saheliyon ki Bari, also known as the "Garden of the Maidens." This beautiful garden was built by Maharana Sangram Singh in 18th century on the shores of Fateh Sagar Lake.

In the garden, there’s an interesting medieval experiment in sound design. In a secluded corner, large-leaved plants have been placed strategically to absorb the sound of water flowing over stones. This arrangement creates the auditory illusion of being in a vast tropical forest during a heavy rainstorm.

Next, visit the Jagdish Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This grand and majestic structure is located within the City Palace Complex. At the center of the temple is a large black stone statue of Lord Vishnu. The outer walls and tower of the temple are adorned with intricate carvings that depict scenes of Vishnu and various incidents from Krishna’s life.

Just a few kilometers away from the magnificent City Palace, the Vintage Car Museum is a fantastic destination for automobile enthusiasts, which you can also explore in the evening.

Overnight stay in Udaipur.

Today is the last day of your Rajasthan tour. Enjoy your breakfast and check out of the hotel. Our tour representative will take you to Udaipur Airport for your flight to your onward destination.
