Itinerary Detail

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, enjoy an assisted transfer to Gangtok. Check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, take a day trip to Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake), a glacial lake on the road to Nathu La pass. Visit Baba Mandir, built in memory of soldier Harbhajan Singh. Return to Gangtok for evening shopping. Overnight at the hotel

Optional tour to Nathula Pass (14,000 ft) on China Border available (except Mon, Tue) for Indian Nationals at additional cost.

After breakfast, enjoy half-day sightseeing in Gangtok: Banjhakri Falls, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Center, Flower show, Dro-dul Chorten & Institute of Tibetology. Afternoon drive to Darjeeling (7,100 ft). Check in and overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Early morning visit to Tiger Hill for sunrise views. After breakfast, visit Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed Thursday), and tea gardens. See Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, Japanese Temple (built 1972), and Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center. Afternoon free for shopping at local markets. Overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Bagdogra Airport for your onward flight.
