Dudhwa is accessible by road from Lucknow, Bareilly, and other cities in northern India. The park is about 230 km from Lucknow and takes around 6 hours by car.

Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Dudhwa National Park is between November and June. During these months, the park is open to tourists, and wildlife sightings are at their best. The summer months (March to June) offer excellent opportunities to spot tigers and rhinos, as animals often visit waterholes. Winter (November to February) is ideal for bird watching and experiencing the lush beauty of the forest.
Note: The park remains closed during the monsoon season (mid-June to mid-November).
