Itinerary Detail

Day 1:Delhi – Haridwar (240 km/4.3 hours)

Upon arrival at the Ahmedabad Airport, meet our tour representative, who will assist you in a smooth transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, set off to explore the attractions of Gujarat, including the Calico Museum, Akshardham Temple, Gandhi Ashram, and Adalaj Stepwell in Gandhinagar. After the sightseeing tour is over, return to the hotel.

Dinner and overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

Day 2:Haridwar – Barkot (175 km/5.6 hours)

This morning, you depart for Barkot/Jankichatti, a beautiful hill station located at the foot of Yamunotri. As you drive through Mussoorie, stop at the famous Kempty Falls.

On arrival at Barkot, check into your hotel/camp. The rest of the day is free to relax and store your energy for the Yamunotri trek the next day. Further, have dinner and an overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 3:Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot {45.6 km & 6 km Trek (one side)}

On the 3rd day of darshan at Yamunotri Dham, have breakfast and depart for Hanumanchatti and Janki Chatti. Then, you will begin the first trek of the Char Dham Yatra in Yamunotri. You have the option of hiring a palki, ponies, or a horse for your trek (at your own cost).

The trek passes through a lush green valley with a profusion of conifers, rhododendrons, cacti, and several species of Himalayan shrubs. On arrival in the afternoon in Yamunotri, take a holy dip in the Yamuna River and perform Pooja.

Afterwards, return via the same route to Barkot and check in at the hotel/camp. Have dinner, followed by an overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 4:Barkot – Uttarkashi (82 km/2.8 hours)

After breakfast, complete the check-out formalities and drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival, check in at the pre-booked accommodation and unwind. Uttarkashi is situated on the banks of the river Bhagirathi and is famous for its historical monuments, temples, and ashrams. In the evening, visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5:Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (195 km/6.7 hours)

Wake up early, have breakfast at the hotel, and drive to Gangotri Dham. Nestled in the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at 3048 m. Upon arrival at Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river, called Bhagirathi at its origin. Visit the Gangotri Temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. After performing the holy rituals, drive back to Uttarkashi. The remaining part of the day is at leisure. At night, have dinner and settle in for the day.

Day 6:Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (199 km/6.9 hours)

After having an early breakfast, leave for your next destination, Guptkashi. On reaching, complete the check-in procedure and unwind. This town holds immense religious importance as it houses famous ancient temples like the Vishwanath and Ardhanarishwar temples.

Further, get your medical checkup done for your next day’s journey to Kedarnath. Then, have your dinner and stay overnight in the hotel/camp.

Day 7:Guptkashi – Sonprayag (30 km by road) – Kedarnath (21 km Trek)

Begin your day with an early breakfast, check out from the hotel, and drive to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag, you will start your trek to Kedarnath Dham. You can hire a Doli, ponies, or a horse for your trek (at your own cost).

Along the way, “Jai Bholenath” chants echo in the mountains, and you will get a glimpse of the picturesque beauty of the valley. On arrival, complete the check-in at the Govt. Camps/Lodges in Kedarnath and take some rest. Further, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8:Kedarnath – Sonprayag (21 km Trek) – Guptkashi (30 km by road)

The 8th day of your Chardham by car yatra is scheduled for the darshan of Kedarnath Ji. Commence your day at dawn, and after bathing, you are at the temple by 4:45 am for the ‘Abhishek ceremony’ in the temple premises. Further, you can go inside the Garbha Griha and touch the idol. After Kedarnath darshan and puja, you come out of the temple and return to your staycation.

Later, you’ll start the return trek from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. The vehicle will wait for you in Sonprayag car parking, and you’ll drive to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9:Guptkashi – Badrinath (193 km/6.1 hours)

This morning, pack your luggage and check out of the hotel at 8:00 a.m. Then, drive to Badrinath temple via Joshimath. After driving through some excellent Ghat roads, you’ll arrive at Badrinath. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax.

After some rest and refreshments, you are all set to go to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. But first, you have to go to Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take a bath, and then go to the temple. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10:Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag (151 km/4.6 hours drive one way)

Begin your day early and head straight to the temple to participate in the Aarti ceremony. Later, return to the hotel for breakfast and then leave for local sightseeing in Badrinath. You’ll visit major attractions such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple.

Further, complete the checkout procedure and head towards Rudraprayag via Joshimath. En route, visit Karanprayag, one of the Panch Prayags. On reaching, complete the check-in formalities and relax. Afterwards, have your dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 11:Rudraprayag – Devprayag – Dehradun – Rishikesh (175 km/4.7 hours)

Kickstart your day with the morning meal, complete the check-out formalities, and then drive downhill to Rishikesh, renowned as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’. On reaching, complete the check-in formalities and rest for a while. Later, you will go sightseeing, which includes a visit to Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula.

In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti, an auspicious and holy ritual performed on the Ghat of Rishikesh. You will gain a deep insight into Hindu culture and enjoy a soulful experience. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12:Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi (246 km/4.8 hours)

Today is the last day of the Chardham Yatra by Car tour package. Enjoy the morning breakfast at the hotel and complete the check-out formalities. Further, you’ll get an assisted transfer in a private vehicle back to Delhi. On reaching Delhi, continue with your onward journey.
