The nearest airport is Imphal International Airport (around 90 km from Ukhrul). From there, taxis and shared vehicles are available to reach Ukhrul.

●    By Road
Ukhrul is well connected by road to Imphal. The drive takes around 3–4 hours and offers scenic views of the hills and valleys.

●    By Train
There is no direct train connectivity to Ukhrul. The nearest railhead is Dimapur or Jiribam, followed by road transport.

The ideal time to visit Shirui Hills is between April and June when the Shirui Lily is in full bloom, transforming the hill slopes into a floral paradise. The weather remains cool and pleasant during this period, perfect for treks and sightseeing.

October to February is also a great time for cultural exploration and nature walks, with misty mornings and crisp mountain air.

Avoid visiting during the monsoon season (July to September), as heavy rains can make travel and trekking difficult.
